Switching phone systems is the part every business dreads. Your job is to make it uneventful: porting the numbers, configuring the system, showing the staff how it works, and being there on day one so nothing catches fire.
What you'll do
- Own new customer setups from signed order through to go-live
- Manage number porting and coordinate cutover dates
- Configure hosted PBX features including call flows, auto attendants, voicemail, extensions
- Deliver on-site installation and staff training
- Check in after launch and fix whatever the first week turns up
What we're looking for
- Experience in implementation, technical support or IT services
- Organized enough to run several go-lives at once without dropping details
- Patient with non-technical users, since most of our customers aren't IT people
- A valid driver's licence for on-site work
Nice to have
- Hands-on with VoIP, SIP, hosted PBX or Yealink and Polycom handsets
- Networking fundamentals: routers, firewalls, QoS, VLANs
